Loftie can’t find my WiFi Network

Updated 1 week ago by Maddy Willis

Loftie can only connect to 2.4ghz. Most home routers broadcast both 2.4 and 5ghz networks. In some cases these networks might coexist under the same name, but in other cases, they’ll be broadcast with two separate names. If you don’t see the name of the network you normally connect to, check to see if there is another network picked up by Loftie that might be your 2.4 ghz network.

If you absolutely don’t see your router in Loftie’s discovered networks, you should be able to update configuration options for your router (either via an app or web management portal). We recommend searching online for “connect 2.4ghz router name here” to find instructions for your specific setup. You can also reach out to your internet service provider for more info if you have a combination router/modem leased from them.

If the time is correct on your Loftie, you are already connected to WiFi.

If you are unable to pinpoint why your network is not displayed, please email us at support@byloftie.com with information about your router and internet service provider.
